The GIF-H290Z Gastrointestinal Videoscope is the slim optical magnification scope which achieved as small as the 9.9 mm distal end outer diameter while providing HDTV image quality. This slim design supports the smoother insertion and better manuevering during observation and is expected to minimize the discomfort on the patient. The GIF-H290Z also is capable of optical magnifications of up to x85 with Narrow Band Imaging. This aids detailed observation by enhancing small features such as blood vessels and the surface patterns on mucous membranes.

  Slim Optical Magnification Scope

  While adopting an optical magnification function, the GIF-H290Z achieves 9.9-mm distal end outer diameter, which is 0.9 mm slimmer than the previous GIF-H260Z^*1 scope. This helps to support smoother insertion.

  Optical 85x Magnification

  This scope magnifies images by 85x^*2, with its HDTV image quality delivering close views of the mucosal surface easily. In combination with the brighter NBI (Narrow Band Imaging), mucosal tissue and capillary networks are enhanced, further supporting detailed observation.

  Water Jet

  A forward water jet helps to keep the mucosa clear during observation and treatment in the upper GI tract.

  Waterproof One-touch Connector

  The connector design minimizes the effort required for setup prior to and in between cases. In addition, it is fully submersible and eliminates the need for a water-resistant cap and the associated risk of an expensive repair due to accidental immersion.
